These Royal Worcester glassware vouchers from Tesco - are they worth it?

I was wondering whether anyone had actually bought any of these glasses. I've been collecting the vouchers, but looking at it, you still have to fork out £7.99 along with the vouchers to get a set of 4 red or white wine glasses which still seems a lot.

I googled to see how much they are to buy normally, and surprise surprise, they only seem to be on sale in Tesco - nowhere else. No mention of the range (Grand Chateau) on the Royal Worcester website that I can see. Is it just, as my mum would say "a swizz"?

I bought some Ikea wine glasses a while ago and whilst very cheap, they all broke whilst being washed in the washing up bowl within a few months, so not really worth it. So I probably DO need to spend a bit extra - I just don't want to line the coffers of Tesco if I don't have to.

In the leaflet it talks about Kwarx technology which supposedly makes them stronger than normal glass - never heard of that, are they just trying to blind people with science? [sceptical]

From the royal Worcester range from tesco we think they are fantastic deal and feel excellent quality to drink from. Well worth grabbing the bargain.

I got some of the wine glasses and they seem great so far. We did need new ones anyway. Same with the tumblers so will get those too, it's not like I wouldn't have spent money buying some anyway.
