Power cable for ELC cd player?

Hello!

We gave dd the CD player with the singalong mics for her birthday in October. Since then we have gone through so many batteries it's ridiculous.

I can't seem to find the right power cable, does anyone know which I could buy?

We bought one of those ones that let you choose the voltage and comes with interchangeable tips.......then you just look at the symbols on the back of the cd player and match it!

Off the top of my head I think its 9v.......

Was going to suggest what lara said - I lost the mains cable for a portable DVD player and took it to Maplin and they fitted the correct tip and adjusted the voltage and it works fine

They also sell the cable in ELC so if you dont find one in argos head back to ELC

Thanks. I had read that elc didn't really help when I looked elsewhere online but maybe it's worth trying again! Although the one that has more uses sounds fab!
