Wheelybug for 18 month old - which size?

Am getting dc3 a Wheelybug for Christmas. She will be 18 months then and is pretty tall. Any ideas about whether to get the small (1-2.5 yrs) or large (3-5yrs)? I've heard reports that is small one is pretty small and therefore outgrown quickly...

Sorry can't help but am marking my place because I have the same question!

Ds is 15 months now and got the large one for his birthday, he can whizz around it (rather slowly) but I expect by 18 months he'll have the hang of going fast! He's not very tall either if it helps Grin

Thanks Magneto,

Maybe the large one is the way forward then...

I'd always go for the large one.... Especially as your dd is tall for her age. They push them around alot at the younger age, and dd1 (who's a tall 5) still whizzes around on our big one

Deffinatly large! I got it for dds first birthday and she's 3 a week today and still fits it nicely, as does ds who's a year older. Wish I'd got two!

we went straight for a large for a first b'day and didn't regret it!

RnB hope your dc loves it we have the ladybird, mainly because bil is terrified of them and you can see him nervously glancing at it when he visits

My dd is currently bombing up and down the hall on it, they're wicked fast on hard flooring Grin

Haha jj - LMAO at the thought of your nil nervously eyeing up the ladybird Grin

Thank you, I'm really excited about the bee arriving (I suspect I may attempt it mote than dd)

deffo the big one. i bought the smaller one for my ds (when she was 1.5yrs)and her older bro had the bigger one (4yrs) but needless to say, the small one is a tad too small.....really dont get the fuss with wheelybugs- i found that kids would tend to slide off/ in front of em. my kids love their scuttlebug- much more versatile and can be taken outdoors too
