Have not bought DP a pressie and its his birthday tomorrow! I cannot think what to buy him. He is a bit of a gadget freak so thought a kindle might be a good idea. He has an iphone, doesn't read books on it though.
He is at home most of the time so I figured that the option for a 3g was unnecessary.
Have done some research online but am struggling to decide and find answers quickly (he is out at the mo and due back shortly!) I have so far found out there are 3 options of kindles - 3G, keyboard, and the new one. I am trying to figure out the differences between them. He writes himself and is trying to get stuff published - he often types notes /storylines etc on his iphone - Would the keyboard kindle allow him to do this? What is the keyboard for exactly?
I am also a bit confused about who to buy it from. If I buy through Amazon does that mean we have to buy ebooks through them? Or if I buy it through Tescos online I can buy ebooks from anywhere?
Any advice really appreciated!
