hi, thought i would just share my experience as its coming up to xmas and dont want any more upset children.

last christmas i bought my ds a PSP 3003 (new style one i have been told). he had just turned 7. he only played when he was in the living room and supervised by either me or dh. In March i had to get a replacement one because there was a problem with the power switch and now i have just rang up to complain as the replacement one we got in march is broken - there is a problem with the screen. DS has hardly played on it (perhaps once a fortnight if that) as he also has a Playstation 2 and Wii which he prefers. When i rang up the guy was very helpful and was all to willing to arrange another replacement - makes me wonder if there is a common problem with them (the new ones are a lot lighter and not as sturdy looking as the original)

on the other hand i have a DS and never had any problems with it.

would love to hear other people's stories

dd has had a PSP since she was about 4 (now 8) although it was not played with for ages as they (dd and ds) got DSi's in later years.
