My DH has bought me one of the new kindles for my birthday - am very happy bunny Grin
Can anyone give me suggestions on setting it up for easy use. I have downloaded a couple of free books and a couple I have paid for my authors I already love.
So far I have just set up "collections" for things to read, things I have read, and amazon stuff. Is this right? I was a bit worried about getting confused if everything was stored on the front page.
Hope this makes sense, I just want to get the most out of it. I would appreciate if you could share how you use or set up yours.
Thanks very much.

Haven't got to the point of creating collections for mine yet Sweetie, I just download them, read them and archive them. Know that's not much help though.

I did have folders for all the different types of books ie mystery, educational etc... but as i can sometimes download 20 books at a time, it became too time consuming to sort through them all, and now I do like JJJ- just leave on my home screen and archive once ive read

I just put what i want t read on the kindle and leave the rest on my bookshelf "in the cloud".

Don't forget the amazon daily deal kindle book there have been some brilliant 99p ones.

My collections are:
Read
To Read
Part Read
Archive

And the books I'm currently reading are not in a collection but at the top of the "hierarchy" iyswim.

How do I move stuff into the archive? No need yet but one day....
