Looking for a great PC game ...... for ME !!!!

I just lurve the SIMS2 stuff - but I getting bored with it .... do any of you wish to recommend a good PC game ( not sci-fi or dungeons & dragons )

Please don't refer to other threads I have started baout spending my free time more construtively !!!
