Theres a nice chunky wooden table with 6 leather looking chairs for 189...seriously considering banging it on the credit card. Do they last or fall apart?

yes I just looked for it online and couldn't see it - I saw it in store but didn't go and examine it (if you see what I mean!). Our homebase has one of those giant extension bits with loads of furniture and I was looking for a 6 seat dining table and chairs but there was another chunky wood one that I also liked that I went over to examine and then I caught a glance of the leather looking one. Then I got a hold of my senses and left before I spent any more money!

We have bought stuff from homebase before and it's been fine.

homebase is owned by the same company as argos. by the way.

I am a bit iffy about homebase as you have to put the furniture together yourself and theydon't get much right

charliecat · 01/01/2006 20:21

We have bought it put it together and its looking good.... Cant moan at the cheapness of it.
