I'm sure buggy board will fit most now with new fixings

bluebear · 01/11/2003 13:36

A 'universal' buggy board will fit nearly all prams/buggys. We got ours from tiny-kins.co.uk - only had it a week but it fits our Mamas and papas pram and should fit our mclaren buggy too.

I've got the Chicco trekking pushchair with a buggyboard (had to get the longer "arms" for the buggyboard as it kept brushing the wheels with the arms it is supplied with). HTH

Hey becca, I have a buggy board, used but fully functioning. Its never going to get used again...you want it? Its heavy so I'm not sure where you live, or we could parcelforce it for postage.

Let me know if you want it when you have made up your mind!

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this in these threads, but I just emailed Maclaren to ask whether they recommended the kiddy board, the buggy board or the Seat to go for their Maclaren Techno. They replied that none of the attachments should be used with any of their buggies because the attachments will ruin the alignment, frame, tires, etc. Has anyone heard this before? I'm really surprised. It seems there is just no easy way to take 2 children close in age out, other than a double buggy of some sort, which are all heavy and unwieldy in some way.

Tinyfeet

None of the manufacturers will recommend kiddyboards or buggy boards at all, some even go so far as saying it will invalidate guarantees. It doesn't stop lots of people sucessfully using them though.

bobthebaby · 17/11/2003 23:37

Julie F - Mountain Buggy do recommend one, but only a specific one and only on their new models.

tinyfeet · 18/11/2003 00:29

Thanks, Julief. I was wondering what everyone's using . . .
