agree totally with bloody megablocks pirate ship! took me hours to get the stupid thing out

DoesntChristmasDragOn · 30/12/2005 21:12

Teksta was pretty tricky to get out. Difficult box, wire ties and a plastic bracket you had to unscrew.

MistletAero · 30/12/2005 21:14

Bratz dolls.

flashingnose · 30/12/2005 21:15

Not awkward but my overpacked award goes to ELC set of 4 rubber ducks. Each duck sealed in its own plastic bag. Then the 4 ducks sealed together in another plastic bag. Finally, that plastic bag is contained in a cardboard box. What on earth do they think the ducks are going to do??

And My Little S*dding Pony - what's with sewing the hair to the cardboard ?

DoesntChristmasDragOn · 30/12/2005 21:21

"My Little S*dding Pony" Snort!

myrrhthamoo · 30/12/2005 21:21

Pack of 4 Star Wars Clone Troopers. So many little twisty wire things I could have woven them together and made a large twisty wire sculpture type object.

flashingnose · 30/12/2005 21:21

In fact I should parp myself on this thread - I'm getting angry just thinking about it...

Mymble · 30/12/2005 21:29

Playmobile anything + 2 yo. Evil.

hornbag · 30/12/2005 21:36

After unwrapping these over-packaged toys did anyone else spend the large part of Xmas day sticking bloody stickers onto them?
Surely if you pay £30 for a toy it should be complete and already have the stickers on (-yes, Animal Hospital Care and Rescue Centre I'm talking about you...!!)
FFS there were so many to put on -large ones that were difficult to put on without getting air bubbles, teen weeny ones and the ones that go in really stupid fiddly places.

flashingnose · 30/12/2005 21:39

STICKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Micro bl**dy Machines

parp parp parp

daisiesinaline · 30/12/2005 21:39

Any kind of barbie doll/fairytopia thingies. Every piece of body part was wired down, almost every piece of clothing was sewed to the cardboard and even the hair wired into place! What do they think they are going to do?! Escape and highjack the other toys??!!!

expatinscotland · 30/12/2005 21:39

Little People Royal Village.

Dragon - what's Teksta? Is it possibly related to our robot dinosaur (I can't remember what it's called exactly) but it sounds similar. We had to turn the house upside down trying to find a screwdriver that would fit, but also had a long thin "end bit" (can you tell I'm not a technical person!) to reach down through the plastic bracket to get to the screw. It took us about 30 mins and much cursing to release the thing!
