Anyone know where I can find a link of what it looks like when its a low bed? Doesnt look like a four poster does it? Im in NI so cant see it in person, and hoping my dad can bring me one home on his way back from Scotland next week, if it looks ok when its a low bed!

When do you need to know by? I may be in IKEA tonight or one evening just after the new year and can have a look for you. Off the top of my head I recall it looking like a four poster though

ikea beds need ikea sheets ...

I always thought that Twiglett, but my dad has an IKEA one and my mum says she just uses standard sheets on it and they're fine. Mind you, we use IKEA sheets on our standard bed and they are a bit bigger than usual.

Hmmm... mum & I only use fitted. Maybe she's buying a size too big - must ask her.

can i be a party pooper and say we have an ikea bed in our spare room and its really uncomfy. their mattresses are rubbish. goodlooking design wise though.

My son has an ikea bed and normal fitted sheets are fine!

suzi - itll be end of this week hes going. I dont mind getting ikea sheets as dd is in cot bed now, and would need new sheets if I got her a standard single bed anyways(but will get normal duvet stuff from here)

My wee bro and parents have ikea beds with the mattress toppers and think they are great... though they prob spent loads of money on them.. hmmm...
