Can anyone recommend a good animation software (for PC) for a 9y child?

I'd like to get 9y DD an animation software for her computer. She enjoys doing simple films as it is but is limited by lack of software.

Can anyone recommend a reasonable piece of software I could look at getting her?

Thanks.

DS2 (9) got this for christmas last year and it has been fab! Very easy to use - he and DS1 (11) set it up all on their own and made some really great mini movies! It still comes out regularly on a rainy day, in fact DS1 was just using it this weekend with a friend.

I got ours off Amazon.... (oops, I mean Father Christmas got it off Amazon, of course Wink )

Can you use any camera with that one or does it have to be the one that comes with it?

Not sure I'm afraid - they've always used the one that comes with it, as it is really good on the flexible stand.

Before they got this they were just using a normal digital camera and Windows Movie maker, but this seems much more straightforward, and the files aren't so big.

DD is currently using wondows movie maker and a normal camera too.

She is also likely to be getting a new digital bridge camera for Christmas oo so it would be nice for her to use that as well I guess.
