does anyone know how to get music from i-pod to computer?

Our computer died. Now fixed but lost everything on itunes. still have all on i-pod, but can't seem to upload it (seems to only want to go from computer to i-pod, not other direction. will take forever to download all cds again. Anyone know how to do it? Ta

According to the Rough Guide to iPods you'll need to download some software to do this. iPodiTunes and iPodRip for Macs and EphPod is meant to be good for PCs. PodUtil works with Macs and PCs.
