Kitchen Aid Ultra Power Blender...Anyone got one...if so..

My little hand held braun blender which I use to chop herbs and make breadcrumbs has just broken. Ive had my eye on a Kitchen aid for a while but not sure if I would still need a little hand held thingy too. I do bread crumbs a lot, but not in huge amounts. Would a kitchen aid be able to do these. My mixer I have at the moment cant because the blade is to high in the bowl for the small amount I do. Are they worth the money?

we use kitchen aid every day for fruit smoothie thingies and very often for soup too, but also have braun for baby food, curry paste and small things - ka is quite big so not brill for small bits. love the look of this but can't really justify it
