PAYG Mobile - any good offers around?

Think Im going to get DH a new mobile for christmas. The one he is using was mine 4 mobiles ago and is now held together at the bottom with electricians tape bless him!!

Dont want to spend a fortune but would like a smart one - he is not bothered about the latest gizmos on it (as I would be) but would like to know if there are any good offers on anywhere at the moment for a half decent one?

Try Virgin, my Mumwas getting one in there for my lil brother and she deffo wouldn't be spending over £100.

Tesco have some good phones pretty cheap phones atm...and tesco mobile is O2 so his sim would be fine in them.

O2 do a good upgrade offer on pre pay mobiles. If you go into a store and give them your dhs number they'll check for you (say the number is yours).

You could get some free credit or money off the handset.

The sony ericsson z520 (white flip phone) is the best, but is £130.

Have a look at the student bit on o2 . - better price handsets than on the main part of the site. I've just bought ds2 the o2X1b, bargain for 29.99. Has a camera and does picture messaging, even for a 14 year old he's pretty pleased with it. Mind you it's a sight more use than the one he dropped in to the canal a few weeks ago

am tempted to up the budget to get him motorola v3
