Christmas costumes for little girls

Hi,

My dd (15 months)is going to a few Christmas parties, and I think it would be fun (admittedly more fun for me than her) to dress her up in something like a reindeer outfit or other Christmassy thing (don't call Social Services - she is too young to be traumatised by this).

Does anybody know where I can get these?

I saw some Christmas outfits in Woolworths, but don't know if they came that small. Otherwise Mothercare sometimes do smaller outfits, I remember seeing reindeers last year.

Or there is always the Disney Store, cute but pricey.

H&M did very sweet Father Xmas suits last year!

aaah.

If you can't find a reindeer outfit, how about a fairy? That's Chrismassy, and there's lots of them about!

Thanks everybody - helpful as ever,

The home made snowfit outfit sounds really lovely, but dd would probably eat the glitter paint, and alas I am not as arty as Twinkle and my home made snowflakes probably wouldn't pass muster

I had a quick look at the Disney Store but couldn't find anything relevent yet (maybe will be in store nearer the time). But checked out the mothercare site and have ordered a reindeer costume for £13 - which isn't bad really. So thanks for that bluesky.

Re the Father Christmas outfit - I think that would look better on a boy, but it sounds great so I will definitely bear that in mind for next year for dd's baby brother (not yet born, but current 'in gestation'!)
