I'm hoping for a PDA and jewellery.

I'm expecting a bicycle . Or he could just be bluffing me...

I've told him I want a particular pair of leather and cashmere gloves, that's it. I think he's going to get me a book and a couple of other stocking filler bits. TBH, we only buy each other little bits and bobs to open on the day, as anything we really want we buy during the year anyway.

falalaala · 16/12/2005 14:14

north face puffa coat/jacket thing. and i'm getting it because i asked for it, found it on the internet, ordered it and took the delivery yesterday.....why is it that blokes can't organise a good present without getting detailed instructions about what it is you actually want?!

NotQuiteCockney · 16/12/2005 14:15

Some knitting books. (I'd better get them for Xmas! Or I'll be ordering them online myself, on the 26th!)

Maybe some video games?

Well, I saw a Molton Brown bag and a SpaceNK bag under DD2's pushchair a coupke of weeks ago, so I'm hoping they are for me!!

beejay · 16/12/2005 14:31

Something thoughtful, glamorous and exciting. But bet it will be a book

fairydust · 16/12/2005 14:56

I'd love a black V3 mobile
new scarf - new handbag new perfume - also have my b'day 3 days after xmas so we'll have to see

NotActuallyAMotherChristmas · 16/12/2005 15:35

I was hoping for the same as I got last year - a 15,000 feet skydive but I know it's not that and I've got no idea what he's got me, I just hope I'm not disappointed....

mazzystar · 16/12/2005 15:38

don't mind what it is but would really like it if he didn't go out to buy it on some ludicrous pretext on the afternoon of xmas eve leaving me with shedloads to do whilst minding DS

and then pretend to go to the loo in the middle of the night in order to wrap it

NewBethlehemGirlwithsparkles · 16/12/2005 15:39

Don't know if I'll be getting anything as he bought me the Pink Motorola last week and we're trying to save every penny for the new baby.

A new ring or shoes would go down a treat though

expatinscotland · 16/12/2005 16:06

i wanted this cool ring, but the swelling in my hadns hasn't gone down from pregnancy and so i don't know what size my hands will be anymore and i'm so bummed.

santasweetdreamer · 17/12/2005 16:52

a lie in.

Epiffany · 17/12/2005 18:03

I know what I'm getting as I steered him round Per Una and Monsoon at the time

bodger · 17/12/2005 18:16

I'm hoping for him to leave his mistress and come home.

bosscatsroastingonanopenfire · 17/12/2005 18:16

I was hoping for a bracelet to replace one I lost god knows where after ds2's birth. I went to Florence last weekend with my Mum and saw a heart stoppingly beautiful one there and called dh and asked if I could buy my own present from him! True to form he was leaving my gift buying till the very last minute so the lovely bracelet is mine to be opened on christmas day. really unromantic I know but I had to have it.

bosscatsroastingonanopenfire · 17/12/2005 18:17

bodger

MarsyChristmas · 17/12/2005 18:39

Blandmum · 17/12/2005 18:41

BudaBabeInAManger · 17/12/2005 18:44

Sex

jinglinggoblin · 17/12/2005 18:45

i have been told i can stop dropping hints about an mp3 player, so hoping he is going to buy one and doesnt just mean he is getting sick of hearing it. also want some perfume, asked for it last year but was told it would show he hadnt thought about it if he bought something i had been specific about. wasnt very pleased, suspect he forgot

BudaBabeInAManger · 17/12/2005 18:47

But failing that I set up a wish list on Amazon!

jambothesnowman · 17/12/2005 18:47

we argue every year. He says what do you want, I say nothing spend it on the kids

He really strops at this but I had my xmas when I was young and would rather the boys got my share too

OLittleTownOfBensmummy · 20/12/2005 08:19

I know I won't be disappointed, he has already told me he hasn't got me anything.

redredpants · 20/12/2005 16:48

me exh, never bought me anything, and then would say that I had spoilt the surprise, so he can't give me anything this year. It was the same on birthdays, Valentines, you nameit, any occasion, esp aniversaries.
He was a stingy git!

Frostythesurfmum · 20/12/2005 16:52

I'd really, really like a decent digital camera. If I don't get one I'm buying one for myself for my birthday in February (said with stamping of feet).
