Tell us about them

BsshBossh · 20/09/2011 09:33

Haven't read them yet. Have downloaded An Experiment In Love. When I was younger I read several Mantels and remember really loving her writing and plots.

Hadn't heard of her until we watched the culture show programme on Saturday, loved her description of being in hospital.

Will go and take a look, thanks.

I got "Wolf (Wolef?) Hall" Smile

Oh, the book I downloaded - An Experiment In Love - is superb. She writes so well and her characterisation is wonderful. It basically follows the fortunes of three women from school in the suburbs to university in London and onwards into adulthood. I am thoroughly immersed in it. I don't like Wolf Hall but I really prefer her earlier stuff - more highly literate domestic dramas.
