Need a new vacuum or wet and dry cleaner, can anyone recommend one?

Finally I can justify buying a new one after battling with my
piece of sh*t Dyson for the last 6 years. Huraaah! But what shall I get? Can't afford to waste any money on anything rubbish again. We got a little cylinder miele one about a year ago for the car and stairs because it was on offer in Comet, but that was a piece of cack too and we threw it out about a couple of months later. Have a dog and baby about to start crawling, so need one that can really suck. Been toying with the idea of getting a wet and dry jobby - are they any good, would I still need a proper vacuum do you think?

Henry has a very clever big brother called George
that does both wet and dry we use one at work and have lent it out to staff to clean their carpets at home

Nope they(Henry) are good enough to be used by the majority of comercial cleaners and george is nearly as popular
