Bought this splendid very expensive iron as ds and dp need ironed shirts every day
First iron was faulty it spewed brown fuild everywhere.
So they replaced it with another
But the new one would not be covered by a warranty, nevermind I thought assured by their rapid and helpful Cust Rel dept and ahving researched the iron on consumer sites beforehand felt sure it woudl be fine.
Two onths on and all the steam holes are calcified so it no longer steams
We have followed the setting up to the letter
DP is seriously pissed off.
So rin them they say ahhh it's your water
On the box it says do not use de ionised water/softened or filtered water
Today he says...
Oh but you can use half de ionised water...
But madam that's a bit late for you isn't it?
I concurred
So he now says well I can offer you a reduced price on a new iron.
I'm really Grumpy...
Why do they not tell you these things when you buy them, why does it not say on the list of its featrures and instructions, if you have very limey water the self clean is pants.
