I always find that they're a bit on the larger side.

NomDePlumPudding · 12/12/2005 19:13

I find them small !

dingdongmeggymooonhigh · 12/12/2005 19:14

They always come up small for us but then ds is rather tall for his age.

northerner · 12/12/2005 19:14

I always find they come up bigger.

it really depends on the build of your child. ds1 (8 1/2)is tall and skinny so finds 7-8 big enough, although i usually buy 8-9 to get more wear out of them, although only age 7 in trousers as they are long.

but ds2 (nearly 4) is tall but broad, rugby player build and i have to get him age 5-6 whereas in other stores, i buy 4-5.

hes very chunky, is only 6 but is both tall and broad. i think i will leave it, i just really wanted a waistcoat for xmas day and dont want to pay a fortune for a few hours wear!

thanks all for the help
