I had the same set and was using it from 6 months. The spoons are a little bigger than most of the first weaning spoons.

Maybe the forks?

DoesntChristmasDragOn · 12/12/2005 19:12

Probably the "self feeding" aspect.

They are probably talking about the cups/beakers and the forks (kids don't usually use forks before that age really). I got my pack from ASDA two years ago and it's lovely and I still use the containers on a regular bases.

MIstletAOU · 12/12/2005 19:14

Well I wondered about that but then why don't they say "suitable from x months apart from forks which are suitable from 9 months"? It's just to confuse dimwits like me I suspect

I wondered if it was to do with the plastic or something [extremely dim emoticon]

Katemum - are you pleased with them? Soooo broke that I don't want to go buying something where the lids are hard to manage/cups are useless etc.

Well she is now 19 months and everything is still in one piece. The lids can be a bit fiddly.

Thank you, that's worth knowing.
