totally pee'd off with ghd

my ghd straightners broke on me 3 weeks ago i had the massive big ones, so they told me to send them back and they would repair them... brill.. but they couldnt be repaired so they said they would send me a new pair, recieved them today and they are the mini ones which are no use at all to my frizzy natural curly hair!! so just called them to tell them there mistake and they've told me that i sent in the mini ones and the only ones i will be able to have is the ones theyve sent out to me, so basically i paid 130 for the large ones that suit my hair to be replaced with the mini pair at 75.00 which i can just bearly do my fringe with... dunno how i'll control my hair over xmas without them what will i do... they said oh just write a letter and complain and i'll see what we can do.. but it was the mini you sent us ffs it was the large ones... any ideas what to put in the god damn letter!!! rant rant rant sorry just come off the phone to them and im foaming!!

I recently sent back a pair of GHD salon styler to be repaired on 25/11/2005, to be told that they couldn?t be fixed and that I would receive a replacement pair. I received the replacement 9/12/2005 only to find that you have sent me the wrong ones back out, you have sent me out the smaller GHD classic which are no use what so ever to me for my hair type.
I called customer services who say it was the classic that they have on record that I sent in to be repaired which is not the case I sent you the GHD salon styler to be repaired. Can you please investigate this further as I would prefer my old ones fixed and returned back to me rather than the classics? If they cannot be repaired I would appreciate it if you could replace the product with the correct straighter?s that I sent you to be replaced, you must understand my frustration I have already been 2 weeks without them and this is now causing further delay due to your mix up!
I would appreciate a quick response.

It looks ok to me aprilgirl. FWIW, I'd be peed off with them too.

I'd ask for an additional oil or something to compensate me but then I'm greedy .
I'd give them a deadline due to Xmas etc. In fact I'd have asked for supervisor & said they had to accept complaint over the telephone or else! Say you'll follow up with a letter but you want action taken immediately to rectify their error. Bad enuff they broke but they sent you the wrong ones.

I'd phone back customer services insist on speaking to a manager and cry! Have you still got the receipt for the original item or your credit card bill if you bought them with a card? If so, refer to these when you phone back or send in a copy with your letter.

i would definitely phone them again and do my best to sound very confident and authoritative and insist on speaking to someone who can make some decisions and use some initiative!

if there is noone of this description avaiable, i would ask them for the name of the specific person to whom the letter should be addressed.

do you have proof that you sent them the larger sort?

kicked right off with ghd and theyve eventually agreed for good will purposes they'll 'this time give me the benifit of the doubt' totally furious theyve practically called me a fibber but anyway they sent thm out 1st class special delivery so they come this morning....BUT my darling DP slept through royal mail ringing the bell........ so im foaming.... xmas party and frizzy hair tonight for aprilgirl!!! i made such a fuss evn put the door bell in the bedroon newt to the bad..( you just plug it into power socket) and he still missed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
