childens waterproof over trousers
ames · 20/10/2003 22:11
A friend of mine is looking for a pair of trousers which her ds can wear over his school trousers to keep him warm and dry on the walk to school in bad weather. He's 5, any ideas?

I saw some lightweight (cagoule type) over-trousers for children in John Lewis a couple of weeks ago. They were waterproof but not padded for warmth. Is this what you had in mind?

Not sure if she wanted them padded as well , thanks for the suggestions. Will pass them on.

I got some nice ones for ds from www.tchibo.co.uk and they were only £5.99. They are fleece lined as well. If you go to the site and click on 'best sellers' you should find them.

I found Muddy Puddles recommended on here a year or two ago, and got some, they are brilliant. Dont know the web address, but I'm sure if you type it into google it will come up.

Try H and M. They do rubberised overtrousers with a bib/brace and matching jackets. Also inexpensive padded ones which are mainly for skiing. Cool reflective bits for trend conscious boys!

Tchibo had some a couple of weeks ago and although their stock is changed weekly, they do keep previous weeks stuff in as well.
They were very inexpensive, around £6 or £8 I think.

If you type children's waterproofs into Google, loads of sites will come up (some more useful than others ). JoJoMamanBebe have trousers, quite expensive though. I saw the John Lewis ones at the weekend, they were about £5. Plain navy.
