Best Printers?

I need a new printer, want something that will do photos really well as well as being a photocopier and scanner (essential) and if poss a fax (but not essential)

Someone has recommended this canon one but it looks a bit big, would ideally like one of those neat boxy ones.

Any ideas?

dh has got himself a v neat little one which cost about £200 - mostly a scanner/copier (inc. colour)/fax than heavy-duty printer, I think. But he does photos on it I'm sure. I'll ask him & revert.

CD, have asked him: it's an HP one, and yes it is a printer too. Says he would recommend it. Let me know if you need the model no. & supplier.

I have this all-in-one canon MP110 The next model up MP130 has slots for memory cards to print direct from your camera, but I wasn't bothered about that. Good value and decent photos. Another plus is that the ink is cheap.

Dh's is an HP 5610 - reviews link

oh and what do you do if you have a wireless network? Do I have to plug in to the printer to print or will it cope with it?

I always buy a printer that has separate inks (rather than a black and a tri-coloured one) - seems more economical.

I have always had Canon printers, but have inherited an Epson Stylus CX5400 that I like - it's a scanner/printer/copier. But it's big, so you might not fancy it!

Dh bought me the Epson Stylus RX425 last christmas. It's brilliant and does very very good photos. It's around 100 pounds and has 4 cartridges.
