I used to use Clarins Eye make up remover for heavy make up/sensitive eyes but lately it's left me all panda eyed in the morning. I've used cheaper ones too, all rubbish. I currently am using the Maybelline waterproof mascara. Lancome waterproof is really hard to shift too.

Do you use a really fantastic/not too perfumed eye make up remover. If it's good let me know please I'n starting to scare my husband in the morning.

I like the Clinique one - Take the day off or something - will try to link to it.

dingdongmeggymooonhigh · 09/12/2005 12:10

Does it shift waterproof?
I have to say I've steered away from Clinique as their 3 step program nearly burned my face off a few years ago.

he'll be even more scared if he wakes up and sees you've removed your eyes overnight

Sharp sticks

littledonkeyrach · 09/12/2005 12:11

I use Boots own eye make remover, very gentle.

I used to use baby lotion but got bad dry skin. But it did shift it!

JonesTheSteamingSanta · 09/12/2005 12:12

Well, I'm not left panda-eyed in the morning, but I couldn't tell you whether my mascara is waterproof or not!

It must be mild as I have quite sensitive eyes.

nailpolish · 09/12/2005 12:12

chanel eye make up remover

MIstletAOU · 09/12/2005 12:12

I just had to open this thread to find out why someone wanted to remove their eyes...... never occurred to me you meant make up - doh

nailpolish · 09/12/2005 12:13

if im a bit skint and cant afford flashy products i find vaseline is really good too

dingdongmeggymooonhigh · 09/12/2005 12:14

Thanks
Rach - I tried the Boots one and my eyes were very puffy after.

Not used the Chanel one or Clinique - does the clinique one do waterproof though, hmm might come down to price I was hoping to get a slightly cheaper one.

Both the Clinique and the Chanel one say they remove waterproof mascara.

hermykne · 09/12/2005 12:16

cetaphil, (sp??) the american make up remover, chemists stock it, sometimes my local boots has it not always thou, its relativly cheap and always in the american Instyle top 100 products!

about 6/7 pound maybe less.

good for all skins but esp sensitive and it can be used on eye area

MascaraOHara · 09/12/2005 12:18

I don't wear waterproof but do wear Lancome Felxtencils.

I've tried all sorts of expensive removers but the other week I bought Boot's own make cucumber eye make up remover and it's fab! I was truly amazed.

MIstletAOU · 09/12/2005 12:19

Another vote for CLinique... if I can be ar$ed I'll go and see whether it's Take The Day Off or Eye Make Up Remover I've got because I asked which was best for waterproof mascara. Both work apparently but the saleswoman recommended whichever one I've got.
