Help, my Sat Nav won't charge in car...

...but it does work in someone else's car, so isn't broken. Has anyone else had this problem and knows how to fix it? It's a Tom Tom.

Has the fuse in your cig lighter blown?

Oooh, how could I tell? It doesn't work in the cigarette lighter, and doesn't work in the 12v socket in the back either.

Have you got anything else that you can try, to see if the sockets have blown? In car phone charger, something like that?

If it is the sockets that have blown,locate your fuse box in the car (under the glove box or near the steering wheel in a little secret compartment) and find the offending fuses and get replacements from a car parts/ motor factors shop. They'll be about 20p each
