Plug in lights to light a corridor

We have to leave the bathroom light on so that DS can find his way to us when he wakes at night. As he has to walk along a corridor I wondered if plug-in lights would be bright enough and, if so, which ones would you recommend? The bathroom light keeps me awake!

Hi we use a plug in light to light up the hall way, this did help for night feeds and finding our way to the loo etc. Also I get up for work at 5 am, so I dont need to put too many lights on.
Not sure what make it is, its a cheap one which my mum gave me - its boring - the shape of a standard plug, and lights up an 'orangey' colour.
Would def recommend using one!

Thanks mumfor1sttime. Can you buy them in Boots? I haven't seen them in any supermarkets but should probably be looking in baby section not with the bulbs. Will have a look today.

We've got some great ones from Ikea which have a light sensor so they only come on when it's dark. Means I don't have to remember to turn them on

Oh - the bulb bit swivels too so you can direct the light where you need it.

Thanks for this. Ikea ones sound good so may have to lose my virginity next week. Scary thought - first visit to Ikea and Christmas is just around the corner!
