I don't know how long this will last, but thought I'd pass on the tip!

I bought ds1 (4) and ds2 (2) a robot "grabber" each - £6 from M&S. They only come out at tidy up time and everything gets cleared away very quickly - hurrah!

Link it....NOW!!!....I'm desparate

lol - it's on the M&S website - called a robotic grabber. It makes roboty noises while it picks things up!

ooh saw these in m+s yesterday but didn't think anything of them, never thought to use it is this way... Great tip, will be back there tomorrow to get one. The way we (try) to do it in our house is the toys live in the bedroom, each child has a fold up basket which gets filled with toys and comes down stairs to plays with. If they want anything else they have to tidy the toys back into the basket, goes upstairs and swap over. That way at the end of the day all that needs to be tidied up is a smallish number of toys into the baskets and then whisked upstairs.
