So, I do still like the Maclaren Techno XT but I am still on the look out for the perfect second pushchair. I am willing to pay up to £150 it needs to be sturdy, hard wearing, easy to fold for public transport and, more inportantly, comfortable for my daughter. I would ideally like a bumper bar on the front but, if the pushchair is right I am open to suggestions x

i have the mamas and papas ziko with footmuff etc for about £120 inc p&p, but the only one i have with bumper bar is the mamas and papas pliko p3 which i have never used (impulse buy) which i would sell for £150 plus p&p, i alos have the matching footmuff, changing bag and suncanopy alll brand new and unused and would like £50 plus p&p for those.

let me know if you are interested, i should be able to get photos to you as camera now fixed!

so many cos i have been abit of a buggyaholic and now trying to sell them on as ds2 will be 4 in january so doesn't need them and i really want a jane nomad for db3.but dh won't let me get one unless i have sold all the others.

freyasmum · 07/12/2005 15:24

Vickiyumyum, I love the pliko p3, have one for my ds but I wouldn't want you to hold onto it just for me as I am not sure when we would be able to buy it from you as hubby says we can't get it till after christmas xx what material is it, just out of curiosity?

OP posts:
vickiyumyum · 07/12/2005 18:19

its the peacecamp fabric like this

i probably will still have it after christmas, as like you no one wants to buy buggies this close to christmas. so feel free to email me at vickimyers at msn dot com when you are ready and if i still have it you are more than welcome to have first pick!

vickiyumyum · 07/12/2005 18:20

just thought i should say that is the same fabric but different buggy. i'm sure you knew that, but just in case

That's great, I do have my eye on this pushchair: www.mamasandpapas.co.uk/travel/traveloptions/o-zonsportivo_travelsystem.htm
Not exactally leightweight I know but I have decided that I want something sturdy as I am a little overprotective of my daughter (she was in special care for nine days when she was born) so want something that she will be comfy in. When we do go on public transport I am always with someone so there is soomeone there to help me. I have found it on Baby Boom for £135. Am working on hubby as we speak lol. But I will definetly keep you in mind, thanks so much xx

Well it arrived today, so far so good. It is a little haevy but at least it is steady. It has a chuncky frame, which I love and it took me all of 10mins to put it together. We tried it out quickly today, the real test comes tomorrow and Wednesday and my DD looked really comfy and fell asleep within 5mins. It looks great, it is a little squeaky but will get the WD40 onto it and I'm sure it will be fine. Over all I am really chuffed with it and am really happy with my choice xxx
