Doll's pram - which one to get

DD1 really really wants a pram for her doll and has written a very nice letter to Santa!

She would like it to have a raincover and changing mat to go with it. I have spent ages looking at all the ones on the market (when I should have asked here first ).

DD1 is nearly 6. Are they all big enough? Have looked at the ones from Argos and some are £20 cheaper than others. Is it just the raincover missing or are they much smaller?

Help please

DD (3y7m) is getting this Silver Cross one . Got it reduced on the DA Toys website back in Septmeber. I have put it together (last night in fact) and it does seem quite high. Although for older than her age now, it is same hight as one she uses at my mums and she loves it. Hopefulyly she'll like this too.

It actually says from age 5. It comes with a car seat, bag, raincover and a parasol. No change mat though.

I paid less than £60.

I guess the make is a good one. It is very bouncy - has good suspension I guess.

It is DD's main present.

Okay - so looks like I am going to have to fork out £50 as opposed to the £30.

My main worry is that it'll be puny and she'll be disappointed but don't want to pay £50 if unnecessary and what if she then doesn't play with it......)

Also now worried I have left it too late and they will all be sold out - and I'll end up in some crazed bidding war on e-bay

Best to go and have a look instore if you can - and then you can see which ones are most substantial for her.

Will do - thanks Hula

what about this?

Nimme · 06/12/2005 21:46

Good deal - but too many bits. She already has a cot and we are NOT having a high chair

Just to say I have bought a Silver Cross WOW deal through Argos. It has all the right bits, the wheels are plasticky but only an adult would notice and it was £24.95!
