DH & I are fencers so give them to every child within reach - definitely safer than lightsabres

that's interesting, the ones that I saw were the smaller size i think but another brand

we got some at an English heritage castle - so you could try their website. My 2 love them.

I've seen similar things in the Lego shop.

They have some in the lego shop if you have one near you

we have the battling ones that merrymrsbadger recommended, I agree they are fantastic. No matter how hard they bash each other they can't do any damage and they are nice and long and sturdy. I give them to all 3-5 yr olds as a matter of course!!

ps also v good in a stocking - look very exciting poking out the top

no you won't regret it for a second, really they are great. you MUST get two sets though, or they will fight over them!

Jst found ths thread and thought these looked perfect for my 4yr old. PPH and/or MrsBadger - would you recommend the mini ones for a four yr old or go straight to the big ones?
