iPods/MP3 Players

amongst everything else going on right now, i have still to buy dp's christmas present..he wants one of these...are they the same thing only different names??and which ones are any good??

An iPod is a type/brand of MP3 player. There are loads of MP3 players on market but iPods (by Apple) are the coolest IMO - we have one and it's great.

I'd do a google and read a few customer reviews before you buy. I've heard that there are a few issues with the batteries on the little IPod (nano?)

DH would love one too, but unless I start standing on a few street corners it's a bit pricey for me I'm getting him a 1Gb MP3 player by Goodmans, which will hold more than enough.

dp has an iriver already which he describes as not as good as a nano
dp bought me a nano and has hankered after mine since so I've got him one
I've had no probs with mine, no screen crack no battery issues
I love mine really love it.

I also have one of these which does the job as well (has a 20gb capacity which is very large) although it is not as sexy as the iPod

When I bought my phone and CD player for the car I did google them before I bought them. There are lots of review sites, and it is really useful to read the comments by people who have actually used them.
