Hi,
I'm getting a telescope for my birthday, but it seems that for our budget (£150) I might be better off with binoculars. Will I be able to see any detail on the planets with binoculars?
Also I wear glasses and currently I can't resolve the (very old) binoculars I have to get one image, I see two images, one for each eye. Is this a binoculars or glasses problem? Or am I a thickie

Is there a halfway decent telescope for only £150ish?
