For anyone who is anxious about allowing their baby to hand feed him/herself in terms of the choking hazard, I would highly recommend the Nuby Nibbler! I got this recently from the local Sainsbury's (my son is now 7 months old) and it's great - he happily munches his way through soft fruits and veg through the net device, and I feel much more relaxed. Having seen him nearly choke on finger foods a few days before I had become really paranoid about letting him experiment with his own food, but this device is really good - he can still hold his own food, but the risks of incident seem significantly reduced. A great product!
