Cake boards??

Trying to find a cake board for my Xmas cake - any ideas?

Thought Lakeland might but can't find one.

ok... you could get a piece of stiff card and cover it with silver foil?

(or that 'foily sort' of wrapping paper, which we have done before and its been fine)

can normally find them in a supermarket - Tesco but I;m sure the others do them too

ah - sorry - I spent a Christmas there once but wasn't looking for cakeboards. Could you get someone to post one to you?

I also covered a board in shiny wrapping paper once for the sea on a baot cake - worked fine. Good luck

What about card shops, they sometimes have them. Funnily enough I was with my mum earlier today and she bought one from Lakeland (but maybe all the shops don't stock them)

sainsburys do them. I got my last oen there.

whoops, jsut seen you're in budapest. Don't the local grocers stock them then? Some of the ethnic shops where I used to live sold them.
