Computer game for DH??

Am looking for recommendations for a computer stratgey type game fr DH for Xmas. He likes Civilisation, Railroad Tycoon etc. Haven't bought him a new one for a couple of years.

Any recommendations for a good newer version of something. Have tried Amazon recommendations but it all gets a bit technical!

My dh is also into stategy games inc the two you mention. He is currently hooked on 'Rome - total war'. I dont get it but he seems to love them.
