that drapes over the sofa arm and has lots of pockets to hold remote-controls. It's to try and help my mum regain some tiny modicum of sanity over my dad's collection of remote controls. (Funny how it's a man-thing.) Can anyone help, please?

or you could buy the thing I bought DP a few years ago - a very clever doobry wotsit that is a single remote control which can be programmed by all the other remote controls in the house.

Problems start when you lose it though.....

That Ebay one has reached £5.25, but it costs only £3.99 at Ikea!

Just looked at the ebay shop from JaRm's link; calls itself The Complete Ikea Shop - think it just has those irresistible bits you pick up £100-worth of on the way round but it could save a trip
