Poo on the carpet - HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DD(4) is going through an awful stage at the moment & is deliberately pooing in her pants or pj's. Last night she surpassed herself, took her jammies off at bedtime in her room, did a big poo on the carpet then sat on the carpet playing. The big poo bit was fine it was actually almost on top of her cash register so carpet was ok but where she'd been sitting (should that be sh**ting) is a horrendous mess. She was banished to the spare room and I used Vanish carpet cleaner but it's still a big stain this morning, up close it's not too pleasant althought you can't smell it generally.
Please help, what can I use to get it clean? It's a berber wool carpet so I have to be careful & can't rub it really or it goes all hairy & horrible. Preferably something I might have or easily obtained. I can't do Lakeland at this time of year.
Our house is up for sale & I just know the estate agent will phone this week with viewers to see the stinky house!
I apologise for the graphic post if it was tmi over Sunday brekkie.

Keep on with the Vanish-work from the outside and blot, don't rub.

Worked very well over about three days when an idiot builder kicked a cup of coffee over anexpanse of brand new cream carpet.

(Wonder why she is doing this though??)

I'm wondering why she would do this too? Is the family going through a stressful time? Sounds like she is crying out for attention for some reason, could be something bothering her?

The prospect of moving house maybe?

Try dissolving a dishwasher tablet in water and blotting the stain with this. I read this as a top tip somewhere (probably on here somewhere) and have successfuly used it on many stubborn stains.

I've asked her time & time again, tried not to get angry even though I'm mad sometimes. It's obviously not accidents though, especially last nights. She'd just been to the loo for a wee, right as rain & was having 10 minutes playtime before a story then bed.
When she was toilet training about 18 mths ago we had a similar problem & I thought then it was stress in the house. We had actually bought another house & then the sellers pulled out, v long story. We put potty training aside & didn't worry about it. Then all of a sudden it came right all by itself & she's been terrific for a year, out of pull ups at night since August without incident. We decided earlier this year to put our house back up for sale & some bu**er messed us about again with our sale, DH's job is a bit unstable & I'm rather stressed although she & I have a very good relationship & she's great at telling me if she's sad or upset & why so this is a wee bit of a mystery. She was just 4 at the end of September but she's quite old in her ways sometimes, I think because she's an only one. Will try & ask again, I was feeling that I was making far too big a thing of it asking her each time & maybe she'd just stop it.
Anyhoo back to the poo & the Vanish. Thanks ladies.
