A bean bag or something to feed baby in at night

There's not a great deal of room in the nursery and I don't want to fill what there is with all chair, but for night feeds or settling baby once he or she is in the nursery I'd like a comfy little chair. I've been looking at the obvious nursing chairs in John Lewsi, RRP 250 quid but I noticed a bean bag that looks comfy that might also then get used my him or her to clambour over etc later on.

Anyone know of any other cool, comfy bean bags or a nice slipper chair, or something as an alternative to these ones I've seen:

JL bean bag

or there's the nursery chair

I;d get the nursery chair myself. bea bag chairs are hard to heave yourself out of lol.

beanbag does look nice and comfy... but not sure if i'd have been ok getting in and out in my rather sore state down below in the first week or so!

I have one of the nursig chairs and it's fab... still use it 10months on, even though not breastfeeding any more.
You can get them much cheaper than thhat though!

kiddicare chairs

THOMCATsForLifeNotJustForXmas · 03/12/2005 22:39

Yeah but John Lewis will deliver and ... oh it's easy. How much cheaper, do you know where?

For the first X amounts of weeks he or she will be in with us in the moses basket so i'll feed in bed, so should be recovered enought to get myself in & out of that ben bag by the time he or she is in their own room.

Just thought beanbag was more fun n funky in the long run. Perhaps it would be hard to get out of with babe in arms, sure I'll manage though?

misdee · 03/12/2005 22:44

THOMCATsForLifeNotJustForXmas · 03/12/2005 22:45

I know, you're so right, I have a v funny image of being being stuck there till D comes and finds me!

bean bag looks great fun but difficult to drag yourself out of after a night feed. I have a nursing chair and I still sit in it all the time (with my feet up) - DS is now nearly 4 - expensive but worth it IMO

THOMCATsForLifeNotJustForXmas · 03/12/2005 22:46

Ebay - v good idea, not sure my nerves will stand it though if I see something perfect!

TC....we dont have the gamester...we have the lounger...which is bigger so Dh has just informed me. They are so comfortable and I have no probs getting my lardy big fat ass out of it at night because they are very well packed!!

Blondeinlondon · 03/12/2005 22:51
