chalk board for kitchen - where can I get one?

Dh and I are trying to get organised and both feel that a smallish chalk board (same size as a notice board) that we can hang on the wall in the kitchen would help things no end.

Can't find one anywhere - any ideas?

Ikea do a lovely one for £14. We have one. Very chic, if I say so myself

Otherwise you can buy blackboard paint, mark off a square on the wall with masking tape, paint inside and hey presto - chalkboard. And for my next trick...

I second aloha's chic Ikea chalk board, best one I've seen!

We have a shop locally that sells cheapish stuff plus pine furniture - it's called The Factory Shop or something - I have a nice chalkboard from there, in a pine frame, with a picture of a pig on it. Also gave a friend a cat-shaped one once, it had a little shelf at the bottom for the chalk, that came from a gifty/novelty/picture/card shop.

GLTC do a sticky felt notice board thing - you could put it inside a cupboard door and stick your paper lists etc on there - tidy and effective!

IKEA also do a half chalk board half magnet board that is fun for all the family!

Yup - Ikea for mine too....

Or!!!! you could get formica that is chalkboard formica AND is also magnetic (I just saw it at a trade show recently). Or you could paint chalkboard paint (i think b&q sell it) onto a piece of steel and it would be a magnetic chalkboard.

Thank you, thank you! Have duly been to IKEA and purchased! (Handy working right by one!)
