There's no reason why someone can't knock up something for you.

Our long low boxed in at the back bookshelves were made for us very cheaply and very nice they are too.

Something you could sit on top of would be good.

Well...it was in Turkey so very cheap.....about £50!

If you had something done out of MDF it wouldn't cost much at all,then you could spalsh out on posh paint and maybe put a long bit of foam on top of it,covered in some groovy material.
