Are they allowed to see Dr Who (some are, some aren't)
Have they been exposed to Yu-Gi-Oh?
Ds aged six loves both of the above, also The Beano and Star Wars.

RTKangaSANTAMummy · 01/12/2005 12:11

I am not sure he has a 7 year old sisiter and so is quite worldly wise iyswim

I did wonder about star wars

my DS is 10 and loves it

Thanks

Star Wars. Lego. Can't go wrong with Star Wars or Lego. Well, not in my house.

Star Wars album

Book with Lego in it

RTKangaSANTAMummy · 01/12/2005 12:12

Actually I can see his dad loving BEANO so I think he might too

DEFFO BRILL

Thanks

Revenge of Sith not recommended for littlies I think (ds manages to be mad about Star Wars without ever having seen any of it other than the vapid and stupid cartoon spin-offs)
Absolutely adores retro-ness of The Beano

MARINAtivityPlay · 01/12/2005 12:14

Beano shared between dh and ds in our house. Bunty and Twinkle do not have the same appeal

RTKangaSANTAMummy · 01/12/2005 12:15

I will see what I can find in shops don't have time for amazon cos have to post it to G

My DS would love that lego book

Am not sure if G would have lego cos he has baby sister iyswim

Ds1 is 7 and was heavily into Spiderman at the age of 6. Still is actually.

BROWNY · 01/12/2005 12:18

My ds is 6 and loves anything to do with Hotwheels cars - he is totally smitten - he also loves and is never off his fold-up snooker table - he absoutely loves it!

elastamum · 01/12/2005 12:39

In this house it is
Lego
Star wars toys
Knex
Hotwheels
Bionicles
Playstation games (if you have them)

elastamum · 01/12/2005 12:39

If it is books you are after and parents will read to him try the Captain Underpants Series, a real hit with my 2

LadyTophamHatt · 01/12/2005 12:42

BROWNY · 01/12/2005 12:45

MARINAtivityPlay · 01/12/2005 12:45

admiring their willies and laughing at their small dsis's for not having one

BournemouthBaubleBabe · 01/12/2005 12:46

DS (5 3/4) is madly into Star Wars (won't let him see Episode III) yet though.

Also:
Power Rangers
Lego - Star Wars, Knights Kingdom
Still plays with his trains - the blue plastic track Tomica World
BIG fan of Lazy Town (don't know if any merchandise at the mo?)

Any of those annuals; also bedtime reading currently is Horrid Henry.

BournemouthBaubleBabe · 01/12/2005 12:47

LOL Marina, willy is and always will be Numero Uno.

MARINAtivityPlay · 01/12/2005 12:50

It's free, it's portable and despite a lot of bathtime torment it never gets broken
Pocket billiards wins!
