we've got the wheat bags for the microwave too... they smell a bit porridgey at first but we love them... the kids call them 'heat up warm ups'

just so you know, the wheat ones are safe to use in the Aga - can't vouch for the other types

I saw some lovely ones in bhs in Gibraltar the other day.

Just as an aside - have you considered the ones with cherry stones in? I have to say that we have a couple of wheat ones, and I'm starting to dislike the porridgey smell. But the cherry stone ones can go in the washing machine, apparently (and actually they recommend you do that every so often). I've bought one for a friend, and am considering buying one for us. here's one

I was worried about the wheatie whiff as well - so hopefully this will ft the bill.
Thanks !
