DS knows them from the childminders, and wants something for xmas to listen to in the car. Will it drive me potty?

yes

Zephyrcat · 30/11/2005 13:16

Yes it will!!!!

It's an Australian kids show - sort of similar to the Wiggles I think. On channel 5 in the mornings.

Hate it!!!!

Easy · 30/11/2005 13:17

oh no, I can't bear the bl%%dy Wiggles.

Is it anything like S club 7 stuff?

popsycalindisguise · 30/11/2005 13:18

the wiggles are fab
hi 5 are not

flamesparrow · 30/11/2005 13:18

Imagine an australian version of Sarah Jane from Tikabilla...

Kinda like that, and wiggles... Steps on speed perhaps?? Less child molester like than Wiggles though.

Would drive you completely insane. Tell him to listen to your music and like it

nailpolish · 30/11/2005 13:18

its 5 australian adults who try to act like children, sing and speak like children

not quite as annoying as the wiggles but close

a couple of songs are a bit pop

Easy · 30/11/2005 13:19

The blokes on the Wiggles give me the creeps

tissy · 30/11/2005 13:19

actually don't think they're too bad- far better than Barbie Girls over and over and over and over again!

Easy · 30/11/2005 13:20

NP, that description sounds horrendous. I think santa might overlook that request.

weesaidie · 30/11/2005 14:05

Yes, it is awful... I think 15 minutes in the morning is enough torture...

Hi 5 are great, better than people in stupid furry costumes. 6.55 am, take a look, there are people on here who like them, they're just keeping quiet! I saw them live & went all trembly (don't get out much). Took dd for cover.

Easy · 30/11/2005 16:53

Can I hear the music anywhere online?

OP posts:
incywincy · 30/11/2005 18:06

Hi try here hi 5 music . Ds1 (aged 3.5)loves them to distraction and has done since he was 2. It will drive you mad

gingerbear · 30/11/2005 18:11

I like Hi5.
I was in lurrve with Tim and Nathan for ages.
Suzywong's DH lusts over Kathleen
Their music is a little like steps, but fun, if a bit annoying.
CD in our car is played to death, and I know all the words
They are good fun live.

Blu · 30/11/2005 18:14

Yes, will drive you mad but not as mad as most children's selections.

Easy · 01/12/2005 09:33

I've had alisten, and it seems a bit less sickening than the wiggles (or is it just that I can't see them too?)

rubberball · 12/08/2010 09:58

Try the Kazoos. They are not yet as big as Hi 5 but their music is great!! You can listen to samples on their website. Google The Kazoos and you will find them.

mejon · 12/08/2010 17:11

You're not a member of the Kazoos are you rubberball? You appear to have bumped some pretty ancient threads just to mention them!
