Leaf collector/Vac Any good?`

If so, which would you recommend?

Don't know what make ours is, but rarely use it as:-

a)it's as much trouble to keep emptying the leaves out of the netting thing they gather in, as to rake them up manually
b)if the leaves are wet, they don't suck up to well and it's even messier to empty...

just as I thought, thanks. Just read a few reviews online and they say much the same. Think i'll save my money and attempt to have a clear up, again, at the weekend.

oh and they're big and cumbersome to keep lugging around (just to finish off the slating )

I agree with Feistybird! The only thing that they are really useful for is getting leaves out of bits that you can't sweep easily, like flowerbeds. Otherwise, waste of money.

Dino, yes, you're right they are good for getting leaves out without dragging flowers and plants from flower beds...but still not worth it.
