Best DVD Recorder for £150?

My sisters & I are looking to buy our parents a new dvd player for xmas (theirs has broken), but seeing as these things are only about 20 pence now , thought we'd splash out & buy them a DVD Recorder. Want to spend £100 - £150. Oh, and it needs to be "silver" coloured to go with their TV!
Any recommendations please?

Argos have a Goodmans one for 99.99 but if you want to treat them they have a goodmans one with an 80 GB hard drive for £180. Was thinking of treating DH as it sounded pretty good but I'm not very techy.

wouldn't recommend Goodmans based on rubbish DVD player experience - Tesco's "no-name" cheap-as-chips gear is better

Actually I spoke to my Dad after I posted & he said the same, Which or WhatDVDrecorder Mag or somewhere gave Goodmans a rubbish write up. Good job the queue in Argos was massive or I might have gone & done it earlier.

Comet are seling a Panasonic for £149 down from £199 in run up to Xmas- v good -my sister has the same model.

Yes-didn't realise it was even cheaper on line.My dad pd £250 for the equivalent model last year so prices are really coming down Forgot to say you have to buy a Scart lead to connect to TV as it doesnt come with one.
