Exactly, i searched for ages last night as i really wanted one as it's topped dd's list (infact it's the one thing i know she really wants), but i flatly refused to pay that much this early on!
The ampount on E-bay too. Do people buy them up on purpose to sell ?

the argos thing is a ruse because no store has them in stock (well certainly none in the South East) although Mattel told me they have a big shipment coming to Argos in the next week or so (there will probably be loads then!!).

I have set that text service up from Argos, if they get them in they'll text me and i can reserve it for 24 hours so i'm still going to do that if my other one hasn't arrived. If it comes afterwards i'll just return the Argos one.
