Hi whymummy, my aunt used it on her scars after having a lump removed from her breast - the scar appeared to change from red/shiny to white/dull in about three months (bio-oil applied religiously once in the morning and once in the evening). She gave me a bottle after I was totally disgusted by the look of my tummy after ds was born (weighed 8lb14 and my bump was HUGE). I haven't had the time to put it on so religiously but the marks have changed from red to dull red.. so fingers crossed its helping. Shame I can't get rid of the extra skin! (you really wanted to hear that !!)

My aunt also said that my cousin had a scar across her eye-brow and put bio-oil on the gap with missing hair and after four/five months hair started to grow back!! I've never heard of that happening before.. so maybe there is something in it after all :0

I tried it, smelt of petrol, did nothing IMO.
