YES in elthel austins as i got couple of pairs last year

charlietherednosedpussy · 27/11/2005 22:08

they sell womens ones in...erm..oh peacocks but not kids ones. I thought I wanted leggings for my dds till my mum got me some for them and i decided against it.They are gairy stripey things

starlover · 27/11/2005 22:11

oh sorry, no they aren't for me... they are actually for ds

bored of jeans and stuff... they're always so stiff, and a bit difficult with cloth nappies.

ordinary tracksuit trousers always seem to have baggy legs and he gets a bit drafty, plus when in pushchair or car seat they all get pulled up his legs etc etc leaving him a bit chilly!

so wanted some clingy trews for him. my fave hennes ones aren't made any more it would seem... so this seems like the best alternative! he'll never know, he's only 9 months! lol

tights with any old trousers?

starlover · 27/11/2005 22:15

yeah it may be a tights jobby!

i used to work with a japanese lady and her little boy was always dressed in leggings and longish big jumpers... he looked so cute! lol
he was about 3 and was mistaken for a girl a lot though

aww sounds cute. A pair of tights and a pair of socks on him should do it nicely if you vant track down any leggings...ebay..??

starlover · 27/11/2005 22:19

sorry being thick. but what is the leggings, is it thick woolen tights? i have seen tights with leg warmers on la redoute. i dont like denim and jeans too,

Enid · 28/11/2005 11:14

no, they dont

I rang boden about this last year (they discontinued them). they told me they were not fashionable anymore - cheers!

they are brill for little crawling girls

LIZS · 28/11/2005 11:32

ds was quite a skinny baby but the Next basic joggers weren't particularly loose on him - he had pair after pair and they did dd too. Not sure they do the exact same style now (can't see on website) but they had cuffs so they didn't gape or ride up. I know the stripey H and M ones you mean - think they are a spring/summer range so may reappear in the New Year.

LilacBump · 28/11/2005 11:33

they always did them in h&m, lots of colours too.

LIZS · 28/11/2005 11:37

Are these any good ?

starlover · 28/11/2005 12:19

fear not everyone! i found the perfect things on a cloth nappy webiste! unfortunately they have sold out, but have e-mailed them to see when they're getting more in!

Hmm, my link doesn't seem to have worked but do try the website. They have leggings with feet, plus 'pull-ups' which are pretty much leggings by another name.
